Testimonials

"Most people who see our house assume that it is indeed a "vintage bungalow". They think it is a 90 year old house we've renovated. One friend asked us how we found an old house with such big closets and master bedroom.

Matt took great care to include period authentic details. This is reflected in the appropriately placed knee braces, in the built-in colonnaded bookcases, and in the generously -sized porches, and doorway and baseboard moldings. The period kitchen cabinets and douglas fir counters, too, make you feel like you've traveled in time back to 1915.

The arts and craft style is in vogue now, and there are whole subdivisions being built in the style. But most of these houses look kind of tacky to us. They're really just standard faceless contemporary houses, with a few artsy elements awkwardly tacked on. Where as Matt provided us with the real thing, a faithful reproduction of the honest straight forward American craftsman bungalow."

"Everyone I know that has even built a house as had some form of a bad experience with the builder and the process - I can honestly say that I don't have anything but positive remarks about my experience working with Matt.

Matt is a true craftsman with an impeccable attention to detail.

I am thrilled with my house and the entire experience of building with Matt. "
